Make A Difference: Benzie Early Childhood Fair & Kids Bike Trade In Program At McLain Cycle

Spring is here and it’s the perfect weather to pull out the bike and hit the trails! Many kids have outgrown their bikes and parents don’t know what to do with the old one.Benzie

If you’re one of those people, save them! Look no further than McLain’s Cycle and Fitness in Traverse City!

They are collecting outgrown children’s bikes and donating them to a child in need. If you have bought a children’s bike from McLain, and they’ve outgrown it, you can bring it back for a brand new one (equivalent to its cost). They’ve been doing it for 10+ years!

They are also partnering up with Grow Benzie, a non-profit community center in Benzie County. McLain’s has donated some awesome kids bikes for the Cognition Grand Opening and Benzie Early Childhood Fair on Saturday, June 12 where they will be giving out these bikes at this event. There will be food vendors, a raffle, activity packs, and plenty of giveaways! This free event will be held from 10am-2pm, for more information click HERE.

Their grand opening is for their new Cognition Science and Discovery Center is a museum-styled center full of exhibits and hands-on learning for kids of all ages.
