* Alfardan Automobiles debuts M2 CS Racing Safety Car
Alfardan Automobiles (AFA), Qatar’s official importer of BMW Group vehicles, has officially announced the arrival of the all-new BMW 2 Series M240i xDrive Coupe, BMW M440i Gran Coupe, plus the outstanding BMW M4 Convertible at all its BMW showrooms. Additionally, Alfardan Automobiles was proud to debut the brand-new M2 CS Racing Safety Car coinciding with last week’s exhilarating start to the 2022 MotoGP season.
This year marks a milestone anniversary for the brand as it celebrates 50 years of BMW M. The M2 CS Racing is the first in the BMW M safety car fleet and the first thoroughbred race car to be used as the lead car in the MotoGP World Championship. The BMW M2 CS Racing MotoGP Safety Car is set to lead the fleet of powerful BMW M safety cars throughout the 2022 season.
Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular events on the calendar, the Grand Prix of Qatar kicked off the 2022 MotoGP season on March 4. Set under the floodlights of the Losail International Circuit, the event drew motorsport fans and spectators from across Qatar to watch an exciting season-opening race. “We are thrilled to introduce an exceptional lineup of new BMW models to our showrooms in Qatar. The debut of the new BMW M2 CS Racing Safety Car is very exciting for all motorsports fans across the region, as it represents BMW’s motorsport heritage in many ways,” Alfardan Automobiles general manager Nasr Jairoudi said. “Celebrating 50 years of M is an outstanding achievement for BMW and we are thrilled to mark this milestone with the arrival of this extraordinary vehicle.”
