THRIVING: MG will aid Vukoja’s duties with support from Thrive Communications as Tim Robson departs for Carsales

MG Motor Australia has appointed its national marketing manager, Mark Vukoja, to monitor press office functions together with specialist PR company Thrive Communications.


Mr Vukoja’s expanded role comes after MG Motor Australia’s PR and communications manager Tim Robson left to join


For New Zealand, MG has retained Ed Finn, based in Auckland, to handle its press activities.


Mr Robson, who left MG last week, said: “I would like to thank everyone at MG Motor for their support and friendship during my time at the company.”


“It’s an exciting time for MG as it edges its way further up the top-10 list, and as it accelerates its focus on its EV model expansion plans and nationwide charging infrastructure program.”


Mr Vukoja has been the national marketing manager for MG Motor Australia for three and a half years. He is responsible for brand advertising, media, PR, retail, sponsorship and partnerships.


He was previously retail program manager for Hyundai Motor Company Australia and before that, manager of marketing, customer and Kaizen at Toyota Motor Company Australia.
