Jackson, MS (April 3, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Jackson on Friday evening, April 1. At around 9 p.m., authorities were called to the scene of an auto accident.
Reports from authorities show that a collision occurred at a Jackson Apartment Complex during the evening hours on Friday. One vehicle involved in the crash struck an apartment building.
The driver of the vehicle, 37-year-old Marcus Smith, suffered severe injuries in the wreck. Smith was to be transported to a local hospital for care. However, he passed away while in the ambulance.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
