The Rust Shaker Mountain Bike Race is making its return to Mid-Michigan College.
The race is scheduled for Saturday, April 23 at the Mid-Michigan College Harrison Campus and will be held on the Harrison Campus trail system, featuring divisions for every ability level.
Officials say the trail system is designed to include wooded and hilly sections, long and gentle climbs, several areas wide enough for passing and areas of steep, rough terrain.
Race day will kick off at the Poet Family Outdoor Education Center with registration open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
A racer’s meeting will follow, and wave starts for all divisions will commence at 10:30 a.m. Lunch, giveaways and awards will follow at 12:30 p.m.
Lunch is included for all racers, but non-racers can partake by making a donation.
Officials say proceeds from race entry fees will benefit maintenance and improvement of Mid-Michigan College’s recreational facilities.
